What is CLIC?
CLIC is a global, virtual competition that aims to encourage education about climate tech and finance through engagement with ESG-aligned investment. Teams of 2-4 from around the world will compete during the month of April to maximize their return on a virtual portfolio of $100,000, while minimizing the climate impact of those investments.
Every week, each team submits a Google Form explaining why they chose to invest in the specific stocks they selected, and throughout the competition, students will have the opportunity for mentorship from LSE students in Green Finance. A panel of experts in the field serves as judges to evaluate teams based on their returns and the justification for investments, determining the winners.
